The history of Tesoros de Cuba is intertwined with Curitiba's cultural and commercial history. Founded in 1994 by the traditional Ghignone family, the brand began as a charming annex to the iconic Ghignone Bookstore on Rua XV de Novembro.
In 1998, under entrepreneur Rafael Ghignone, the space moved to its definitive address on Rua Comendador Araújo — an independent temple of sophistication, now open to those who want to visit the cigar lounge in Batel.
More than a tobacco shop, Tesoros de Cuba established itself as an international-standard Cigar Lounge. Every architectural detail was carefully planned, allowing experienced aficionados and new enthusiasts to enjoy unique moments of relaxation, good music and the weekly live music schedule.

How can I tell if a Cohiba or Montecristo is genuine?
The counterfeiting market is aggressive. The first step is to buy only from credentialed official tobacconists like Tesoros de Cuba. In Brazil, every legal Cuban cigar must carry the Anvisa seal, the Habanos S.A. holographic seal and the official importer seal (Emporium Cigars).
I'm a beginner — which cigar should I start with?
